Who we are

Classes are provided and sold by Toppers Education Centre Private Limited (company number 796688), San Antonius, 1 Laurence Avenue, Maynooth, W23 R6P1, Ireland. You can contact us at the email address at the bottom of this page, or by replying to any email we send you.

Classes

We teach Leaving Certificate maths in live online classes: 1-to-1 classes, and group classes of up to 6 students. Times on this site and in our emails are Irish time. You join through the video call link in your confirmation email; you need a device with a camera, a microphone and a working internet connection. A class starts and ends at the booked time, so joining late doesn't extend it.

Booking and paying

The price is shown before you pay, in euro. Our classes are exempt from VAT. You pay the full price when you book, by card on the secure payment page of our payment provider, Revolut. A booking is confirmed when the payment goes through and we email you a confirmation, which is also your receipt. We hold the time for you for a short while as you pay; if a payment arrives after that and the time has gone to someone else, we refund it in full.

Students under 18

Most of our students are under 18. A parent or guardian should make the booking, or agree to it. Parents are welcome to be present during online classes. We don't record classes.

If you cancel

You can cancel a class up to 24 hours before it starts, using the link in your confirmation email, and we refund the full price to the card you paid with. To change the time, cancel and book again. The law gives you 14 days to cancel services bought online. When you book, you ask us to give the class within those 14 days, and you agree that once the class has been given you can no longer cancel it. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the class, or don't attend, the class isn't refunded, though you can ask us and we'll help if we can.

If we cancel

If we have to cancel a class, for example because of illness, or a group class we cancel, we refund the full price and email you. You're welcome to book another time.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. They usually reach you within a few days; banks can take 3 to 5 working days to show them.

Our responsibility

We prepare and teach every class with care, but we can't promise a particular exam result. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Irish law.

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
